[Plugin: DISQUS Comment System] Javascript Error on search.php

  • Having some trouble with Disqus. When I load a search page with results (search.php), the following code gets displayed at the top of the page:

    // = 0) { links[i].innerHTML = 'View Comments'; query += 'wpid' + i + '=' + encodeURIComponent(links[i].getAttribute('wpid')) + '&'; } } document.write(' wordpress y2009 m07 d27 h20 search search-no-results loggedin">

    When I disable Disqus, this goes away. Any ideas?

  • I’m having this problem too, but specifically when there’s only one search result. It’s fine when there are multiple results, or none at all, but for one result only I get this at the top of the page:

    When I turn the Disqus plugin off it goes away. My WordPress installation and all plugins are all up-to-date.

    Did you have any joy with a fix, longjasonm? Has anyone else got any ideas why this is happening?

    I had this exact same problem using Mimbo Pro. I had to just get rid of Disqus in the end – couldn’t sustain this error.

    I too would be interested to hear whether it’s been resolved somehow.
