    Hi,

I installed and activated the latest version of the plugin on WordPress 6.4.3.

I have added the following string in a paragraph on a page.

    I'm [DatetimeDifference startDate="1981-09-15" endDate="now" format="Y"] years old.

The following text now appears on the page when it is loaded in the browser.

    I'm [DatetimeDifference startDate="1981-09-15" endDate="now" format="Y"] years old.

This is not what I expected. In my opinion, the plugin does not work at all.

    Did I do something wrong?

Hi, the plugin should work properly, even regardless of WP version.

I’m assuming you’re just pasting this string as plain text and not in the Shortcode block:

I see I forgot to mention that I also inserted this text into a Shortcode block. Unfortunately, this did not work either.

Today, it occurred to me to uninstall your date counter plugin and then reinstall it. Then I activated date counter again.

I was pleasantly surprised when I loaded my Date Counter page in the browser. The result of the date calculation was displayed and not the syntax. Great!

@pankratovkm The string given above as a Shortcode on a Page shows the number of past years. So that I can easily reuse the Shortcode text, I have stored it in a Pattern.

Unfortunately, when I insert the Pattern on a Page, the calculation no longer works. The text for the Shortcode is displayed instead of the result of the calculation.

    Did I miss something?
