Plugin doesn’t change page order

I activated this plugin specifically to be able to change my page order. Unless I am doing something wrong, this plugin is not working for this purpose. I have dragged and dropped the page order in the admin menu (as the plugin advertises), but it does not change the page order. In fact, when I log back in, the pages in the Admin menu are in a different order than I put them. But that doesn’t actually change the page order either.
