• After spending some time creating my menu I discovered the plugin does not work with Elementor Pro’s Nav Menu widget. It works on desktop but doesn’t work on mobile.

To make it work on mobile, you have to use the default WordPress Navigation Menu widget. This widget has to be styled using Custom CSS which is just a pain.

Yes, I submitted a support ticket, and was told “The conflict between the plugin and Elementor Pro’s Nav Menu widget has not been solved yet.” Seems like a weird issue to have with a plugin called “Clever Mega Menu for Elementor”.

  • I figured out a fix for this. I created 2 nav menus for the header, one with Elementor Nav and CMM4E enabled, another with just plain Elementor Nav menu which is responsive.

Hide the CMM4E nav menu for mobile devices and the other on desktop devices. This helped me. In mobile, even mega menu is going to be stacked vertically, so I guess it should not be a problem to have plain menu as a temporary fix and wait for CMM developers to find a fix for this million-dollar problem. ??
