  • I don’t see them playing well together, but I would definitely by interested in your results ??

    Hi there

I have to admit – I actually don’t know. I’m going to release a new version this month and I’ll look into this. Expect a version which does support the co-existence or a report ??

    Regards

I’d definitely be interested to know how this works out! Do you think you can post here as well?

I’d love to be able to let the folks at WPMUdev know that we have a WPMUdev friendly plugin out there ??

This plugin looks awesome. I didn’t even know it existed until Kimberly let me know. ??

Joining the discussion so as I do not miss any updates on this one ??

Just to make sure, I suppose you’re trying to achieve the following:

    WP Network with Domain Mapping
    – Company Blog 1 (www.company1.com)
    – Company Blog 2 (www.company2.com, https://www.myproduct.com)
    — Product Page/CPT (www.myproduct.com)
    – Company Blog 3 (www.company3.com)

Domain Mapping should map company1.com – company3.com to the blogs, and DMS yet another domain to a page or CPT inside one of these blogs. Am I correct?

ohhh boy! half the wpmudev support staff is here nearly!

    Hi everyone,

First of all, I’m quite excited about the interest everyone’s showing! ??

I’ve just released DMS 1.3 which should be able to co-exist. I have tested it with the WordPress MU Domain Mapping plugin, which works wonderfully with DMS 1.3 (map mycompany.com and myproduct.com to the MU site, where the user can map myproduct.com to a page or CPT).

I would love to test it with the WPMUDEV plugins, but I have to admit I only discovered WPMUDEV thanks to this thread and can currently not afford a membership (poor student).

If one of you could test it and give feedback on the matter, I’d really appreciate it though!

    Regards,
    Rob

    Hey Rob.

Can you get in touch with us, mark it the attention of Tim so we can discuss compatibility. ??

I’m not sure about external linking policies here (rubbish memory) but if you use the contact form on our site it will come through to our email in box – https://premium.wpmudev.org/contact/

    Thanks! ??

    Well, here I am again.

With the lovely support of wpmudev I now have access to the plugins.
Unfortunately I was very busy this summer (Uni exams and holiday ;).

I’ll finally look into the question and report back tonight/tomorrow. If it doesn’t work, I’ll try to get it working ??

    Regards,
    Rob

    Yipee!

It doesn’t seem to work with multi-domains, I’ll try to add support for it in 1.4 (might need quite some magic).

As for domain-mapping, I’ve got some issues running that plugin on my test platform right now ?? As soon as this works, I can check compatibility.

    I’ll keep you up-to-date.

Hopefully I can help get you sorted soon as possible, will call in Barry if we need him ??

    Kimberly

    I almost feel stalked – you’re everywhere ??
Just sent you some additional info about the issue.

Unrelated to this plugin compatibility thread, but the underlying issue may relate to development aspects, so I just want to inject it into awareness as this development collaboration proceeds.
