Plugin downloads not working

  • When I try to download a plugin I get the following error:

    Downloading install package from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/contact-form-plugin.3.78.zip…

    Download failed. Destination directory for file streaming does not exist or is not writable.

    Can someone help me out?

  • Looks like you have a server configuration problem. You need to speak to your hosts about this.

    Thanks for your reply.
    Although I already asked my host and he says it’s something in the wordpress configuration (?). He checked with their server configuration and all that was fine.

    Hope someone else can help me!

    Then I’m afraid he needs to look again. This is a server issue – either configuration or permissions.

    Ok thanks! I’m going back to him.

    first, go to ftp,

    and then rename the plugin folder

    and create a folder call plugins

    and then try to add plugin again.
