I have the same issue here:

I would like it to trigger on page load or the header element being loaded. this doesn’t appear to function.

Also, is there any way to affect the vertical positioning of the box?

Also, it doesn’t appear to do function using Google Chrome, although FireFox and IE work fine.

Since it is a Scroll Triggered Box it is waiting for a scroll action to show. I am developing the plugin on Google Chrome and show on ID or Class is working fine for me.

Are you using .class or #id ?
