I have get the plug in dregister – cos I want more details at registration … it all seems to work, add the fields, says saved. But then makes no difference to the registration page and when I return to the dregister settings – my options have gone. Been driving me mad for hours … any ideas?

Tried register plus too – but that doesn’t seem to load the full page of options …

    Arghhhhhh … please!?

  • Thanks for the feedback and the ideas, I’ll check it out ??

Mind to flag the topic as solved? ??

    Juzaam, I have this problem:
I put DRegister into the plugins folder, then I try to activate it, but when I did that, return this error:

“You are not authorized to access this page”

then, the only way to fix this is deleting dregister =(

    Thanks!

Hi scarred, thanks for your feedback.

Can you provide more details about yor W.P. version?

    Hi

I have the same problem as scarred. When i finalize installing the plug in and activate it, the next screen is: you not autorized to access this page.
And /wp-admin/ becomes inaccesible, also when i login.
Delete the folder of the plugin is the “solution” to continue working.
I tried with the version 1.3 and wordpress 2.7.1 in blank installation with no other plugins.
    Also in local.

    Thanks.

    Hi mantobani,
I’ll get to work on this and try to fix for the next release.

    Thanks for your feedback.

In case this may be of help to anyone:

After upgrading WordPress from 2.7.1 to 2.8 via Fantastico upgrade, I was not able to make user changes getting an error message about illegal ForEach() arguments in dregister.php at line 238. (Sorry, forgot to copy exact message)

Turns out the upgrade did not preserve the custom fields I had defined.

Going to the dregister settings and adding the custom fields back in resolved the problem. (Data was preserved because, I believe, the data is in meta data, not separate tables…)

    Hope this helps.
