[Plugin: Dropdown Menu Widget] Can't get dropdown to work at all

Just installed the plugin, set it to display my wordpress menu that has a submenu but this submenu isn’t displayed on screen. Viewing the source it shows it has embedded correctly, but just wont display.
Havent changed any CSS, using the default plugin styles.
