[Plugin: Dropdown Menu Widget] Trying to style widget as current sidebar menu and failing

Hi! I feel a bit stupid here as I’m sure this should be very simple. I currently have two of the same menus in my sidebar, one using the dropdown menu widget and one just a sidebar menu. I like the styling of the original menu but short of adding a new class to the ul and every list item (bit out of my comfort zone) I cannot figure out for the life of me how to style the dropdown menu to look the same as the current menu. I don’t have a drop down css in my theme css folder. Have tried wp default theme. Tried the ‘from url’ adding the path to the normal menu theme. I know I’m barking up the wrong tree… please can anyone help?
