  • This could be because the specific plug-in developer of my 7 text doesn’t store their information to the WordPress options table. This is the only table that the duplicator attempts to re-map any update values for at your duplicated sites new location. So there might be some plug-ins that you have to manually reconfigure.

    Hope that helps!

Thank you for your reply, but for “7 text widgets” I meant I have seven text widgets, it’s not the name of a plug-in… ??

So, text widgets, in my test site are NOT duplicated… any advice?

    TIA

Ok I see… So are the text widgets themselves not showing up at all on your site after being duplicated or is the data in the text area widget it’s self not correct?

I do currently have logic that will try to replace URLs in the WordPress options table. I’m wondering if somehow the data in there is messing something up…

If you happen to know SQL , then you could run the following query on both of your databases and send me the results. If your not familiar with SQL then I’ll just experiment when I get some time.

This SQL will show the info from all your your text widgets.
    SELECT * FROM wpplug_options WHERE option_name = ‘widget_text’

    Thanks
