    Hi,

    First, congratulations, looks like a very promising and useful plugin. But it’s not working for me yet: I click on “Create Package”, it ask me to confirm if I want to do it, click on OK, and it keeps working for a while, then the page refresh, and everything is empty.

    Here’s my server info and the debug log I got from the plugin:

  • Hey Peter,

    Quick update, I just went ahead rewrote the logic for file_get_contents to use fopen. This version should now be in the “Developer Version” line. This should now allow you to read your log files.

    Please however don’t post the entire url of the log file on the forums as it does contain sensitive information. Please submit your log files to the support ticket system and I’ll help you walk through looking at any issues…

    the dev version seems to fix the issue
    – sql created
    – zip created
    – package displayed
    – all files available on server

    I too have great hopes!

    Hosted on DreamHost, I did enable PHP 5.3.x FastCGI.

    But so far I’m not sure what to make of the System Check results. Everything says PASS, and then this:

    PHP SAPI: cgi-fcgi
    Pre-Zip Overview: 480.47MB 5,958 Files, 630 Folders
    W3 Total Cache:
    Cache Directory Not Found

    However, I don’t have W3 Total Cache plugin on this site. Why the mention?

    W3C is a pretty popular plugin and including the cache directories inside the package can cause issues with re-deployment that is why it’s an option in the plugin…

    I was totally relying on Duplicator to work as I had an emergency move and for the second time on various sites the plugin is not working. I have done absolutely everything possible to fix it as per all instructions given. I uninstalled it 5times, old and new versions. I upgraded and downgraded WordPress, but the Plugin Dashboard is just blank. It seems to be a common problem as I can see in this forum.
    Please advise on how to fix this problem as I am now trying Backup and Move. Very frustrating!!
