I get it now. In the current version of Easy AdSenser, there is no way to prioritize the widget. It will be counted against a global max ads in the page, and depending on whether it is inserted (in the HTML source) before or after the cut off, it may not appear in the rendered page.

Your expectation to have the widget appearing gives me an idea for the next feature — an option to prioritize widget ads. Will add that in the next release. Thanks!

    manojtd,

I love your plugin (well would if I could get it to work properly !), however I’m having some issues, although I don’t think this is just related to the plugin- I think it is a wider issue, but I’m hoping you may be able to help. I think it is probably a very simple setting somewhere, but whenever I try and alter the settings for Easy AdSenser and click on the ‘Save Changes’ button, it pops up a box saying “opening options-general.php – You have chosen to open option-general.php. What should Firefox do with this file ?” When I save changes to other files, it seems to save them fine, but not with this one.

Any ideas where it’s going wrong ?

    Thanks in advance,

    Jeremy

new version is having some issues.

I wanted to display 1 ad on the top left, but it only shows at the bottom left. (no matter, which placement I chose).

A diff. plugin for widgets, a diff. plugin for search, yet, a diff plugin for link units may be a better idea.

I like the name Easy adsenser. Less things the better, for it to be easy/simple.

Unless, you want to integrate All functionalities of Adsense, then you may want to all it, All in One Adsense Solution.

Most people may want to add just 1 or 2 adsense ad units, for which easy adsenser worked perfetly well.

I am afraid, its moving away from being easy, and more, All in One, solution. In the process, it stopped working altogether.

I’d be interested in downloading the version, when you first removed the link to your blog.

    thanks

PS. is your book about universe based on Bhagavatam?

I take back my previous post.

It seems to be working fine on its own account, will not work with Originizer plugin in place.

I will send them a note.

Jeremy (wilsojer), sorry, cannot figure out what is going on with your options-general.php.

sdebbad2, you are right, I’m not quite happy about the “Easy” AdSenser becoming so complicated. I will go back to the basics and release another simple plugin, probably even simpler than the early versions of EzAdSenser.

About my book, it has some underpinnings in Advaita. But it is probably not proper to hijack this support thread to discuss it. Why don’t you send me an email at: https://manoj.thulasidas.com/mail.shtml

How can I remove the ads from the homepage? I just want them to show on individual pages. Please help???

How would I go about removing the ads from the category view? I only want them when viewing the actual posts and in the two static locations I have placed them.

    Thanks!
