Can you please open includes/process-downloads.php and tell me what line 104 is?

    header(“Content-Length: ” . @filesize( $requested_file ) );

Comment that out and then try to download a file. Does it work?

still not working 1.1.5.2 going to try 1.6

1.1.6 still not working still 0 file downloads… site is hosted on WPEngine could they have made some permission changes that effect EDD in any case the site has been effectively down for downloads for days now.

Could this have to doe with the permissions set by WPEngine or something like that ?

It’s possible, though I doubt it. Easydigitaldownloads.com runs on WP Engine without any problems.

Could you send me login info via the Contact page so I can check it out?

    Arthur Klein

    (@pursuitofhappinessyoga)

ok i can report back that:

Couldn’t upload because file exceeds (50meg maximum) File is actually 825,238 KB on my local disc.
After FTPing file into /wp-content/uploads/edd/ali-dvd/Ali-MacGraw-Yoga-Mind-Body.mp4. It changed from trying to download free download file at 0 bytes, saying it was 806 MB even thought it is still 0 bytes.
How can i do a complete clean install without loosing products or users info?
Did we do something pre 1.1.5 to fix the initial file download issue?

I am really getting desperate and i am loosing members. What can i do to get this fixed? I am open to suggestions cause this is killing me… I have to be able to serve files as large as just about a gig so uploading in wordpress from wp-Engine doesn’t see like an option… is there anything you need to know about WPEngine.com s servers?

    Thanks,

    Arthur

any word what to try next… did you get the login… do you want me to send u a zip of plugin folder or try a clean install? What can i do next to get EDD to work properly. Currently i am just manually sending the actual link to members to download.

    thanks

First, for uploading large files, upload them via FTP and then use the Add From Server plugin to import them into the media library.

Can you please look at the .htaccess files located in /uploads/edd? Please tell me what is in them.

Also, I released v1.1.6 yesterday which had an additional tweak to this part of the plugin. Please upgrade.

I’m working on the issue right now and will send an update as soon as I have one.

Okay I’ve just pushed out v1.1.7 which should fix the problems: https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/easy-digital-downloads/

Please do let me know about the contents of the .htaccess files.
