I have done everything you suggested including creating new download product and still get zero download.

the link works fine without EDD but will not work inside of EDD even with Add from Server. I am scratching my head… what should the file permissions be for the files and folders? I mean it works fine just pasting the following into a browser and it downloads perfectly? Is there anything you want me to ask WPEngine?

Can you paste the contents of includes/process-download.php into snippi.com and share the link?

In regards to WP Engine, no, nothing. The EasyDigitalDownloads.com site is running on WP Engine with no problems.

do you know of any current plugin conflicts?

Can you try replacing the contents of that file with this one? https://snippi.com/s/glh4cp3

The only conflict I know of is with Simple Email Encoder, but it is a different kind of conflict.

have been through hell this weekend with onflict with a few plugins that put thousands of links on FaceBook app… Finally got back to EDD.

I am now using add from server plugin and all files are in subdirectories within /wp-content/uploads/edd/

a 130 meg pdf or zip downloads and works fine, But the MP4 files still will only download as 0 byte files… Any thoughts?

i am using version 1.1.8 and i don’t see mp4 file type reference in process-download.php file

mp3s work right but mp4 still 0 byte downloads

I’ve added mp4s to process-download.php, can you please copy the file contents from the Github version and see if that makes it work?

    Arthur Klein

    (@pursuitofhappinessyoga)

installed Github version and still no luck. Really need MP4s to work up to the size of about 1.5 gig if possible. Not sure why the new process-download.php from Github Version has no effect. Is it possible something needs to be added to deprecated-functions.php. I am scratching my head.

    (sidenote, nothing new)
Also when i put link without EDD in browser it works fine and also gives the correct file size in Download Open with / Save File dialog box.
EDD downloads don’t show size next to file type in Same file download dialogue window/box. So not sure why when EDD handles downloads of all files it doesn’t return file size in this dialogue box interaction.

    i meant to download-functions.php not deprecated-functions.php

Can you enable Test Mode (and also the Manual Payment gateway) so that I can do a test purchase / download, and remind me the site URL?

i have sent your login and password to yr email address

I’ve been doing some more tweaking and have done a few completely successful tests with large .mp4 files. Can you download the development version and try it? https://github.com/pippinsplugins/Easy-Digital-Downloads/zipball/master

YES it works thank you thank you thank you… so what is the secret sauce?
