    Yes, you do this. All you have to do is set the price of the download to $0.00.

    When “purchasing” a free download, the user will go through the checkout process as normal, but will never be asked for payment info.

    For transferring the email addresses to Mail Chimp, you will need purchase the Mail Chimp add-on.
