[Plugin: Easy FancyBox] FancyBox not working on Posts or Feeds?

    Ok I don’t know if this is intentional or what, but I noticed the FancyBox doesn’t work on the main index page feeds or the categories feeds.

    It doesn’t initialize until you get to the actual page post. Is there a way to make it load on feeds or category feeds? Because this is a huge problem for me.

    Please let me know, I have searched all the forum post and FAQ and see nothing about it.

  • Well, feeds are very different from normal html pages. Unless you are using some stylesheet — see https://www.w3schools.com/xml/xml_xsl.asp — for your XML based RSS feed, it depends heavily on your browser (if will show a feed formatted at all) or your feed reader how the feed items are displayed…

    There is no simple way to get something like FancyBox working on a simple RSS feed.

    Thanks for the quick reply. I found it wasnt an issue at all that what nees ro happen was when uploading or editing the images that the link to image or file needed to be selected. Once i dd that hey worked like a charm. Tested in all my major browsers and had no issues.

    Think maybe that would have been great to know before hand. No docunents referred me to it just trial and error but i believe its worthy of noting in a faq or gelo doc.

    Just my opinion. Great plugin.

    Anyway, can you give me a link to your feed so I can see what you mean?
