[Plugin: Easy Privacy Policy] MULTIPLE EMBEDDED SPAM LINKS

  • This needs to STOP. I have added this plugin to a few other sites now to see if the developer has stopped embedding spam links, and the only difference is that the links change.

    IF YOU DON’T WANT A LINK TO A GAMBLING SITE (poker.toolazy.me.uk/bet365poker) IN YOUR BLOG OR WEBSITE, DO NOT USE THIS PLUGIN. If you do use it, be sure to delete the footer link from your page.

    WordPress admins, you shouldn’t allow someone who does this to be listed with legitimate plugins. This thing is SPAM GARBAGE and should be tossed.

    If you are 100% sure that that exists within that plugin (I have not checked myself) then please inform [email protected] of this behavior.

    The support forum here is not really optimal for that sort of reporting.

    Edit: Oh nuts, it’s right there in the PHP for the plugin starting on line 169. Yep, the copy on WordPress repo is EVIL and contains that spam.

    Thank you! Will do that immediately. I had added it here so that people would see it before unwittingly adding a spam link to their blogs/sites. What’s weird is that the link has changed several times. I found a different link in each of my sites. Thanks again.
