[Plugin: Edit Flow] unable to change the slug after changing post status

    Hi,

    We have added two statuses to our posts, before publishing (news edit and copy edit). The problem is that once the editor changes the status from draft to one of these statuses and hits “save”, it becomes no longer possible to edit the post’s slug – it won’t change with the headline change (as it does in ‘draft’); and editing it manually does not help – the slug reverts back upon clicking “update” or “save” or “publish”…

    Any idea what could be causing this and how to solve it?

    I can confirm this bug.

    I can’t confirm this bug. Do you have any other plugins running, and does this issue persist when they’re deactivated?

    Hi Daniel,

    The second part – which you couldn’t confirm – has turned out to be due to me using remove_meta_box for slugdiv. It appears that slugdiv and the slug editor under the headline are tied to one another (there’s an open trac report on this at WordPress for a while now).

    So this is not related to Edit Flow, I apologise.

    The first part – which you did confirm – remains unresolved for me, and I’ll be happy if you could suggest a solution or fix it in your next edition.

    This is fixed in v0.7.4
