Plugin Editor in WP 6.2?

    Hi. Installed WP 6.2 yesterday. Did not find Plugin Editor and this didnt help either, because I couldnt find the line disallow_file_edit in wp-config.php.

    Is the plugin editor still available? And if yes, where can I find it?

  • On a new WordPress 6.2 install (default theme, no plugin active), I can still see the theme and plugin file editors under TOOLS… where they were previously (since…. 5.0?).

    If you can’t find it on your site at all, then something on your site is disabling it (I can’t say what though).

    Hm, ok. The editors are not visible in my tools folder. But someone gave me a hint:

    https://example.com/wp-admin/plugin-editor.php (only had to replace example with the name of my website).
