Plugin editor not visible

I’m not sure what causes the plugin editor to be unavailable. I found this with a search: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/missing-theme-editor-and-plugin-editor

Thank you for getting back to me. I checked with my host because I was having some other plugin issues and they don’t allow the plugin editor to be a part of the dashboard ~ if you want to edit a plugin you have to use SFTP to edit it.
