I’m not sure what you mean by removing a post without deleting it. You can drag a post from the calendar to the unscheduled drafts section on the right, but that’s about it. The calendar shows you what’s in your blog. If you don’t want a post in your blog then you should delete it.

Am I missing the point of your question?

    Thanks,

The calendar does not show all draft posts. You have to schedule the post in order for it to show up on the calendar. Basically I wanted to know how to unschedule it. I can’t move drafts from the Unscheduled draft section onto the calendar, so I never thought that moving a post into that section would work. Apparently that specific function does though. Thanks!

I’m glad there was an easy solution. You can always move a post back and forth from the unscheduled section to add it to the calendar on a specific date or leave it unscheduled.

    Thanks,
    Zack
