  • Ah, I missed the 4.4.9 above. That’ll be a good reference point to check the bug.

What’s odd is that you said that it saved, but that the theme didn’t appear on the themes page. Did any files copy into your wp-content/themes folder (in php4), or nothing?

The save function was hanging in 4.4.9 in the first two releases, but the 3rd release I was actually able to save it once.

I didn’t check if any files saved, but there was no theme to select when using php4 as you know.

I am having some similar issues. I’ve installed the latest release of Elastic (0.0.2.7) on a WP 2.8.4 install, running on PHP 5.2.8. The Theme seems to save fine within the UI, but I see nothing generated within the themes directory or elsewhere. Seems like this will be a great addition to WP if it would actually work :(.

Sorry to hear it’s not working for you Joe! Just to be sure, when you hit save, you’re getting a “Saved!” confirmation message, right? Also, can you usually use the WordPress automatic upgrade / plugin & theme upgrade features without a problem?

I’ll try and figure out the problem you’re running into—I want Elastic to be compatible on as many systems as possible.

    Thanks for letting me know.

I am getting the “Saved!” confirmation message. I have had mixed results with the auto upgrade/plugin install since WP 2.7 (sadly)! I’ve adjusted permissions to try and resolve the issues, but nothing has worked. If you have any recommendations for permission settings (to fix the Elastic or auto-upgrade issues) I will gladly lend an open ear!

P.S. My sites are hosted on my own server, so I can make virtually any modification necessary!

Not getting the Saved message..when I click the “Save Theme” button, it just opens the Canvas Settings box…very weird.

I am able to make a theme, but I can not save it. I use WordPress 2.9.1 and I downloaded the latest version of Elastic.

I think this is a great add-on for WordPress, too bad it is not working.

Correction: it does show a Saved message, but it appears very quick and light. Unfortunatly, it is not showing up in my themes, nor on the server.
