[Plugin: Email Before Download] Download Monitor hits count doesn't work

    There might be several reasons why it doesn’t increase the hits value. Please make sure that your attempts match the following major behaviors:

    1. IP address of person who clicks on the link is blocked.
    2. The downloads could be available only for member, so user has to be logged in.
    3. The downloads could be accessible for everyone, but hits is counted only for non-logged in users.
    4. Etc…

    Hi Alessandro,

    If you choose the option to mask the link (with cURL) within EBD, then the hit count will not increase. Perhaps this is what you experienced?

    Note: You can collect the data from the EBD export (available in the Admin Panel) when masking the link.
