Plugin enabled causes free trial for WooCommerce Subscription to be looped

Hi,
We have WooCommerce subscriptions with 2 products that have a 60 day free trial. After the trial the customer gets an email asking for them to pay the amount of the subscription, however when arriving on the checkout page it says its free again and that the 60 day trial will start again.
I narrowed it down to be something in the YITH WooCommerce Product Add-Ons plugin because when I deactivate that plugin the issue is resolved.
Is this a known issue? If so, how can we resolve this?
