• Hello!

I installed the Easy Pricing Table plugin at the above web site.

I received the following error message via email after activating the plugin.

    `Howdy!
Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.
In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Easy Pricing Tables by Fatcat Apps.

    Error Details
    =============
An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 31 of the file /…/public_html/wp-content/plugins/easy-pricing-tables/includes/post-list-table.php. Error message: Call to undefined function wp_date()`

Can you please look into this?

    Thanks,
    Melissa

    Hello @gavinohanlon,

    Thanks for your reply.

I am using the old version of the plugin, i.e., the one before the block editor version, on a staging site since July.

The pricing tables work fine on the staging site.

I am now trying to replicate these tables on the production site using the current version of the plugin.

I am however unable to use the current version of the plugin in the production site.

The site emails me the above error message when I try to activate the plugin after downloading it.

I can provide you access to the staging site (to see the tables) if you can tell me your IP address.

Please let me know if you need any additional information.

    Thanks,
    Melissa

    Hi Melissa,

    Thanks for letting us know.

Are you able to use this plugin below to turn off the other plugins you have temporarily and see if Easy Pricing Tables can then turn on without giving you that error message?

Then you would know if another plugin is causing a conflict or not. Then you can turn them on one by one to see which one causes the error conflict.

You would be looking for the “Troubleshooting” section that allows you to turn off different plugins just for you the admin and not the live site – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/

    Looking forward to your reply.

    All the best.

    Hello @gavinohanlon,

Thanks for your reply and suggestion.

The Health Check plugin responded identically before and after installing Easy Pricing Tables.

When I click “All Pricing Tables” inside the plugin, the following messages show:

    1. The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

    2. If you see this message after saving the snippet to the Woody ad snippets plugin, please enable safe mode in the Woody plugin. Safe mode will allow you to continue working in the admin panel of your site and change the snippet in which you made a php error.

The above referenced email shows the following under Error Details:
    =============
An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 31 of the file /../public_html/wp-content/plugins/easy-pricing-tables/includes/post-list-table.php. Error message: Call to undefined function wp_date()

Does this give a clue or two?

    Thanks,
    Melissa

    Hi Melissa,

    Thanks for confirming that.

Would we be right in saying your website that you attached in the first message is on WordPress 5.2.13 ?

If so, then Easy Pricing Tables is probably having a conflict with that older WordPress version. Updating that website to a newer version of WordPress should fix it.

Is the staging site using a more recent version of WordPress ?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    All the best.

    Hello @gavinohanlon,

Thanks for your reply. Responding to your questions,

Both the websites (i.e., production and staging) run the same version of WordPress, i.e., WordPress 5.2.13.

The two sites are on different version of the Easy Pricing Tables plugin.

The production site has the current version of the plugin.

The staging site has the plugin version that was current in July 2021. That is, the staging site does not have the block editor version of Easy Pricing Version.

When can I expect the next update of Easy Pricing Tables plugin?

    Thanks,
    Melissa

    Hi Melissa,

    Thanks for message.

No concrete date yet for the next release of Easy Pricing Tables. In the meantime, it would be faster to either update WordPress itself or use the same version of Easy Pricing Table as you have on your staging site.

Feel free to get back to us if there is anything else.

    Regards.
