Plugin Errors in Public_html

  • We have been using this plugin for more than a year and it has always been VERY hard on our server. To help reduce this I have it set to pass through its own cache but now we are getting this error:

    Access denied for user ‘xxxxxx’@’localhost’ (using password: NO) in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/byrev-wp-image2url.php on line 43

    Our Server company tells me:

    “This script is configured to attempt to connect to the database, without using a password. This is not possible, as cPanel sets it so the user has a password and needs to use it for security purposes. I would speak to your devs about fixing this code so that it is using a password when it attempts to connect to the database. This should help a lot, since it looks like a script that is associated with this is being run a lot.”

    Can you help me with this? We need to run this plugin. Without it – our site literally sees 1/3 of the traffic. Thank you!
