• Ever since updating to WordPress 2.9, editing a post causes all of the product options offered by eShop to be automatically entered for the post and set to “Array”. I am not editing or listing a product, just updating a normal post and suddenly it shows up in my product list with “array” listed in every possible place for product information. So I end up with a normal, non-product post with no images, listed as a product for $0.00 and $0.00 shipping with no limit on stock. Is there a setting somewhere that I need to update?

Also, for version 4.1.1 I can’t turn of the message at the top of the dashboard that says
“eShop 4.1.1 is now ready to use. You must now deactivate and re-activate the plugin.” I have followed the instructions multiple times but the message won’t go away.

I really like eShop but I would like it even more if I could fix these two things.

you need files in those directories though, are they writable to?

Yes, I made them writable but there are no files added when I deactivate/reactivate. Another thing is that when I first reactivate the plugin I get a completely blank screen, but when I refresh it everything looks normal again. I wonder what’s wrong?

at the moment I would have to suggest you don’t use eShop, as the issue with the blank screen may be a symptom of something more serious.

OK guys. I have solved my issue with eshop and it was a mistake on my end.

I had just moved the site to a new domain and my “Store uploads in this folder” setting was still pointing to the old site.

I updated this path to my new domain and path to my uploads folder and this has fixed my problem. eShop is working great! Sorry for the confusion.

    oh, ok… sad ??

Maybe I’ll try starting over and see what happens.

Problem solved…and it was something so simple!
I couldn’t figure out why the files weren’t being transferred to those two directories after deactivating/reactivating the plugin. I tried a few times, double checked permissions, but no luck. I tried one last time but deactivated ALL the plugins first, then reactivated eShop FIRST, then the other plugins. Now all the files are there, no blank screen when reactivating, and the message telling me to deactivate/reactivate the plugin is no longer at the top of the screen. Yay! =D

After I was done I set the permissions on those two directories to 755. Should they be lower?

well if you are selling downloads, the download folder need to be writable.

If you want to edit the css, the css file needs to be editable.
