• Ok, as I understand it, with a Paypal business account, and Website Payments Standard, users should be able to pay with a credit card without creating an account. They should get a page that says ‘Pay with a credid card or log in’. In my testing (not in sandbox) my initial paypal page is simply a login page, granted it has the correct billing information but it’s just a login page. There is a link to create an account, which takes me to a page called ‘Create a Paypal account or login’.

My question is, how can i get eshop to direct the user to the ‘Pay with a credit card or log in’, page.

as most changes are code changes, listing these won’t help you in the slightest. Which is why I provide a small summary in the readme… of course it sounds like I forgot this time, for which I apologise. But there wasn’t that much that changed and shouldn’t affect most people. But you should always update to the most current version.

Well that’s exactly what I was getting at! Knowing that rhe code chnaged doesn’t help me, I need to know what the cose changes are designed to do ??

I want to hold off upgrading because I have had to make hardcode chnages to make the select boxes on the checkout page multi-line, since IE, even IE8 is still too ****ing stupid to respect styling on drop down boxes. Standards compliant my a$$.

Just don’t want to go digging through the code again just yet.

which is why you need to refer to the diff files as you have altered the core code. These give you line by line changes – and you will easily spot if the portion you changed has been altered in the main plugin.

I don’t and won’t give full break down of every change each time, I’ve tried in the past and it soon became unmangeable.

Honestly Rich, I think we are really getting our wires crossed here. I’m not asking for a full break down each time, just a summary of important changes, which as we have established you usually do but forgot this time.

As for the diff files, yes, I agree that I would need to refer to them should I decide to update manually, and so it is great that they are avialable to me, however reading them as a non-programmer does nothing to help me decide if performing that manual upgrade is an urgent priority, or if it can wait, which is why I find the changelog summary very useful because it does help me determine that.

That’s it, that’s all. Really don’t want you thinking I am being obtuse or trying to be a pain in the you know what. Thanks again for an exceptional plugin.

Installed latest version. Now goes to the credit card page at PayPal! Thanks!
