Hi, was hoping someone could help. When I click ‘add to cart’ on one of my product posts, eshop seems to double whatever is in the qty field. If ‘1’ qty is selected, it results in 2 showing up in their cart when it directs them to the cart page. I’m using the latest version of eshop. Any ideas?

    Thanks

on just one product post or all of them?

can I have a link to your site?

Obviously this isn’t something that cropped up in testing…

On all products, Stock control is turned off, and it’s download only.

The site is https://www.bloodsweatvector.com, although we haven’t put up any product posts yet since this issue is happening. I can create you a login if you need to login to take a look. Just let me know how to send you the information. My e-mail is [email protected]

    Thanks for the help!

Just tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling eshop as well, no luck yet.

Problem solved! Looks like the issue was that the SFC – Share Button plugin from the https://ottopress.com/wordpress-plugins/simple-facebook-connect/ package was causing some conflict. When disabled eshop works as intended.

hmm, that’s unusual but thanks for identifying the cause. I will assume Otto’s coding is better than mine… so I’ll download that one and see if I can find where things are conflicting and make necessary changes.

Working with Rich on this. Looks like something about the shortcode processing causes it. Will update later.

Yeah issue found – on my side as I thought ??

I’ll be working on fixing this asap as it may also affect other plugins. But it isn’t a small job, so may take a little while to fix. Keep on eye on the change log in future releases and I’ll mention it there when it’s fixed.

Thanks Otto for pointing me in the right direction with how to fix things.

I think I have nearly fixed this, it will be in the next release.
