[Plugin: Event Calendar 3] Can't create database table on installation

I wasted five days developing the calendar, then gave up when I found it can’t display events as future posts. Then I found a way to force it to do this, and reinstalled it but now it can’t even reinstall because it can’t create its own tables for no apparent reason. Uninstalled it, deleted reinstalled. Nothing else to do. I suppose I’ll have to install it on another site an then export the table structure and import the one table. Christ hell WP is worse than building a site from scratch.
