looks like the Smooth Slider plugin and Event Espresso are using the same function names.

Try deactivating the Smooth Slider plugin, then activating Event Espresso. As soon as Event Espresso is activated, see if you can reactivate the Smooth Slider plugin.

Please let me know your findings. I will change the function name in the next update.

    Hi Seth

I have tried this and followed your instructions. Yes – it does still conflict.

    Thanks

Thanks!. I have not had time to make an update yet. I have been extremely busy with the pro version, in which the function does not even exist any more. lol

You can safely remove that function if you like. It is located in wp-content/plugins/advanced-events-registration/includes/database_install.php on line 16. You might have to remove teh call to the function as well. Just do a search and replace.

    Thanks for that Seth.

In your pro version – do you provide a mini calendar widget? Would be great to have a smaller calendar (like the default one) with days highlighted when events taking place.

Even better – run the calendar and the events listing widget together?

And an option for the widget not to display when you have no events…?

I have a beta of a calendar widget, but there are conflicts with the full calendar addon. So I only offer it to people that want to use it.

Hi Seth, I have bought your 5 site licence. So if you could send the beta through for the paid version of espresso that would be great.

By the way the paid version is excellent.

Also – how can I give permission to say a site editor as opposed to the admin of a site to operate espresso?
