[Plugin: Event Registration] HELP!

    I do not even know where to begin. I want to set up an Event Registration Page for One single event that will occur annually. I created a wordpress blog at wordpress.com, but I do not know how to install the newest wordpress that will allow plug-ins to MySQL server (Which, I don’t even know what that means) I do not know how to install the New WordPress or The Plug-In. I need help from the BEGINNING. From Installing and activation I do not know anything about Javascript or Computer Programming. I just want to create an event registration page for a Basketball Charity Tournament.
