Dear WordPress and Event Registration fans,

I have installed the newest version of the plugin, but unfortunately it does not work correctly. After submitting the form, there does not open a new page saying that registration was correct. Instead the form opens and shows up the same questions like before clicking on the submit button. The URL includes just the website and a “?”. The event shall be free, could there be a problem?

I would be so happy if you could help me solve the problem.

    Thanks in advance!

You must have a page on your site that is publicly accessible that has the shortcode {EVRREGIS} and that page must be identified in your company/configuration – pageconfig tab as the registration page.

This is required for all other event and calendar links to work correctly.

You do not have to have the page in your navigation bar, but it must be accessible.

Had the same problem when using the shortcode.

So you can’t use the short code for the event? [EVR_SINGLE event_id=”1″]

    You must use {EVRREGIS}??

Not sure what the shortcode is for then. I would much rather use this to avoid another page the user has to go to, as I only have one event. But I get no payment page when using the shortcode ??

You can use the shortcode. You do not have to have your page with the {EVRREGIS} code in your menu, but it must be accessible to process the form. All webforms require a form processing script. The page with the {EVRREGIS}is that for the shortcodes.

Ahhh thank you very much avdude. I thought it was a one or the other type thing, not a both. It certainly works now!
