[Plugin: Event Registration] Waiting list bug

I downloaded version 6.00.12 of the Event Registration plugin and every time someone resisters is says the event is full and that the person is on a “waiting list”. I see that this was a bug in older versions of Event Registration, but the plugin “news” section says it was resolved. Can anyone help me out and provide some direction? Thanks!!
