[Plugin: Events Calendar] Calendar and event entry broken

  • We have plugin version 5.8.3.

    (1) We used to be able to enter events in the calendar. Now when they are entered, they are discarded. Nothing is displayed on the admin or front page calendars. There is no error message.

    (2) The front page calendar stopped working properly. It no longer displayed any events. The event listing does list events, but that doesn’t matter much since we can’t enter events any longer.

  • I have the same problem.
    I’ve tested on 2 wordpress installations: 2.3.3 and 2.5

    I have reverted the stable version to 5.8.2

    I am reworking the plugin now and hopefully will be getting a lot of bugs out by cleaning up and clearing out some code. I am getting loaded down with some outside stuff and school. If anyone wants to contribute to this plugin, let me know. It would be nice to have some help and if you are very interested, maybe we can make this plugin to be a lot better.

    If needed, I can request to have you added as an SVN user. Thanks a lot.

    I had the same problems with 5.8.2. The upgrade to 5.8.3 didn’t cause the problems I mentioned.

    I may take you up on that offer to help. I’m out of town the rest of this week, so I will follow up next Monday.

    Version 5.8.4 still does not allow us to add events to the calendar.

    I am having similar problems now that I’ve upgraded to WP 2.5. Many of my events are lost — the date appears on the calendar, but when I click on the date, the screen says “no entry available…” Others are working just fine. I hope this can become stable soon as it was a great tool!

    I am hoping to have a development version published tonight or tomorrow night at the latest. It is coming soon.
