[Plugin: Events Calendar] Links in SidebarEventsList widget don’t works

  • Hello,

    This plugin seems to be all what i need to manage Events.

    On the “large calendar page” the link to an existing post is ok,
    but in the SidebarEventsList widget this link doesn’t works and doesn’t appear in the pop-up window.

    Some ideas ?

  • I have been having this same issue. It seems that the URL is maybe being cut off in the code. How can we fix this??

    Same here and it’s not the plugins. I’ve tried with all of them disabeled

    Has anyone figured out why the widget links don’t work?

    I’m not sure if this is the same issue, but I did find a bug where the links were getting cut off, so that the “Linkout” displayed on the tooltip in the Large calendar would only display part of the url. It’s in ec_js.php, around line 400 or so, there is a line that includes

    substr($linkout,0,19)

    which is retarded. No idea what it’s doing there, taking only the first 19 characters of the url. But if you change that to just

    $linkout

    the full urls will be displayed.

    Edit: by the way, this is in version 6.5.2.2, according to the readme.

    I have tried using this plugin and it always stops the widgets for any sidebars from working. Images no longer show in posts. I have now given up and am trying another solution.
