  • Yes I agree, I’m searching for a way to remove this as it is absolutely the top of all my pages, and adds no value, only making it confusing to the user thinking they are in a “Media” site. Please Luke if you know how to remove it, or at least make it invisible, it would be greatly appreciated.

Actually found it in the file ec_calendar.class.php, which if you search for truemediaconcepts, and then comment out these lines, it works fine. Thanks again though Luke for an absolutely amazing plugin WP-Events-Calendar

I am going to add an option to turn it off. The reason I went and “ruined” it was because there are many hours spent producing it and I have to neglect other things. Tried to supplement with donations and help from others but nothing pans out. That leads people to need sponsors.

Glad you found a way to get it out. On the next release there will be someway to turn it off for the time when supporting the plugin is not an option.

The most recent version has the option to remove it.

OK I used it and donated. Thanks snumb130!

    Much appreciated.

    snumb130,
I have a quick question about EC that you might be able to answer. I have pulled a bunch of events via an API from a site and stored it into a mysql database. I am wondering what an automated way to add these events might be.

Are the events stored as ‘posts’ or another method? The solution doesn’t have to be too simple I just need a way to automate this process since there will be a lot of events and it would take forever for me to keep track of.

Many thanks. Hopefully, that made sense.

There is not an easy way to import at this time. You can work up a way to manually import into the database through MySQL, but this can be tricky and dangerous.
