• When I attempt to deactivate the plug-in I get the following error

“Fatal error: Cannot break/continue 1 level in /wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wp-events/wp-events-setup.php on line 112”

Any insight into what this is, and how I might be able to go about deactivating this plug-in?

  • It means the deactivate process is broken. You can manually deactivate the plugin by manually editing the database or you can delete the plugin from you server using you FTP client.

I’m experiencing this same problem, and we shouldn’t have to go through all this trouble. ??

Unfortunately some plugins aren’t well written and aren’t updated for more recent versions of WordPress. Ideally you should be able to contact the plugin author about this problem but some plugin authors stop supporting their plugins which is a shame.

this time many countries celebrate Easter – so many people spent time with their family and /or friends.

and yesterday it was sunday – be patient if you would like to get support – plugin authors are human and no machines.

they have sparetime and they have a right of having sparetime.

    regards

    Monika
