I recently put the Events plugin on my WordPress site for listing several snowboard events around Minnesota. The plugin works fine except when I try to edit the settings regarding the templates. When I try to change the settings I get a crazy error I’ve never seen before. Here is what is says:

    Request Entity Too Large
    The requested resource
    /wp-admin/options-general.php
does not allow request data with POST requests, or the amount of data provided in the request exceeds the capacity limit.

Any idea what would cause this? I love the plugin, but it’s not very usable if I can’t update the templates. Thanks in advance!

I found the problem. If anybody else is having an issue, look for a field that is full of backslashes! I found one of my fields in the Template editing page to be full of over 200 “/.” I have no idea how they got in there. After fixing that issue, everything works fine!

I also had this problem, but it didn’t give me an error, it just kept trying to load until it timed out. This solved the problem.

    Thanks tjdunklee!
