  • I’ve got this notice too – except I am noticing a problem. I can’t add or manage events – only categories. The other links are missing from the admin menu.

Has anyone come up with a fix for this, I’m getting this issue too. Much obliged. ??

I got the same message too…

I received the same message too. WP version 3.2.1

Debug mode shows that during activation of the Events plugin the following error line occurs 42 times:

PHP Warning: mysql_field_name(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/binvenbe/public_html/wp-test/wp-content/plugins/wp-events/wp-events-setup.php on line 64

Hopefully this helps the plugin author to bring out a fix quickly.

Until then I will deactivate and remove the plugin, rather be safe than sorry…
