[Plugin: Events Made Easy] events that span months don't display in the calendar correctly

If I add an event that spans 3 months such as Dec 1, 2012 through to Feb 28, 2013, the calendar cells are blank throughout January. I found I had to duplicate the event and use Dec 1-31, Jan 1-31 and Feb 1-28 in 3 events to make it appear correctly. Obviously, that’s an inconvenient work around. Any suggestions?
