[Plugin: Events Made Easy] permalinks and single event page problem

hello. I’m trying to use EME on 3 different pages of a site I’m working on, using shortcodes. The plugin used to work alright until I updated WP to 3.3.1, I believe, though I’m not certain. After updating, the permalinks to single event page wouldn’t work properly, they reloaded the same page. Tried a few things I read about here and on the official forum [I’ve already registered there, still waiting for approval!], and now the permalinks lead to the posts page of the site, which I don’t use anyway. However, not even this happens when using the standard wp permalinks, which I’d prefer to use. Any ideas?
