    Yes I had seen this topic but as it was in resolved status I thought any update would go unnoticed.

    I’ve updated to the latest EM version already (5.1.8.5).

    OK, so the update to WP 3.4.1 messed up the bookings again.

    Please advice….

    As far as I’m aware, it’s now working as expected. There is one nuance which is recurring events, if you create a recurring event with a booking cut-off date, that same date will be used for all recurrences, so chances are your later event bookings are ‘cut-off’.

    I’ll be removing that field for now from recurring events.

    I just did a little test.

    1. Created a recurring event and posted it.
    2. All recurrence are available until the start time of the first recurrence
    3. When the start time of the first recurrence has passed all recurrences are closed.

    I did not use the availability/cut off option.

    I tried this one and all seems to be working fine; Do you have a sample link and the actual test event?

    Did another test same result.
    Site is members only.

    Something I wanted to add:

    Bookings are still closed when you open the said event, but the booking button I’ve added in the list view still works (#_BOOKINGBUTTON) and reservations can be made.

    Not using the availability option neither.

    Yes, everything looks good there. I tried to unlink the from the recurrence too but no changes.

    if it was from a recurrence, try resaving the event with a correct cut-off date, one in the future. sounds like the issue explained above.

    Hi I am having exactly the same problem with events becoming unavailable for booking.
    I’ve read through every reference i can find and I am totally stuck.
    What seems to happen is that everything is fine when I create a recurring event with a start date in the future.
    So today, 7th July, Icreate an event starting 8th July, daily recurrence until the end of the year. No cut off for bookings.
    All fine, bookings work.
    At midnight tonight all dates will then be closed for bookings.
    If I change the recurring event to start on the 8th, everything will be fine, until the 9th when all events become unavailable again.

    I have tried all variations of settings I can think would have an impact and I can not change the results – tehy always become unavailable for booking as soon as the first date is in the past.
    The events are in a members only section.
    Everything seems fine when all events created are in the future.

    The situation I am trying to manage is for a club that only has 10 bookings available each day. Members can book online. There is no fee / cost. It is just a reservation system.

    This event repeats every day

    Recurrences span from to 6/7/12 to 14/3/13

    Events start from to All day

    Each event lasts 1 day(s)
    Enable registration for this event = yes
    Name = Booking
    Price = 0
    Spaces = 10
    Available from to Left blank but same problem if dates entered
    Bookings must order between 1 and 1 spaces.

    I’ve tried reentering / deleting / changing and I really dont know what else to try

    Any ideas ??

    Would upgrading solve the problem?
    It looks like I am going to have to create 365 individual events, which cant be what was intended.
    Has anyone else been able to get recurring events to work and keep working?

    try the latest version, it works for sure and fixes this issue (the demo is made of recurring events, latest version).

    if you STILL have the issue, then it’s definitely your individual event settings, so make sure that’s all in order, even try adding a new booking cut-off date to force it to refresh.

    ok thanks – i will start from scratch again. hopefully it is something stupid in what i have done!
