[Plugin: Events Manager] crashes \includes\query.php get non object

  • Hi. After installing 5.1.4 of Events Manager, received the following error:
    Call to a member function get() on a non-object in [website]/wp-includes/query.php on line 27
    Could not access dashboard, website, etc. Had to rename \content\plugins\events-manager to restore WP GUI. Tried reactivating but error returned, so am replacing with another plugin. Hopefully issues with events manager will be resolved. I enjoyed it when it worked.

    I have confirmed that the error comes from the new version of Event Manager Plugin 5.1.4.

    I uninstalled version 5.1.4.3 Event Manager, I checked out the plugins directory had been deleted and tables in the database.

    I installed the 5.1.3 version of Event Manager I enabled and the mistake does not happen. The template works correctly.

    Something running or installing this version makes it happen that problem and there are things that stop working.

    Any ideas?

    Am going to test this again however can you try to turn-on WP_DEBUG to see if there’s any other error?

    btw, read the codex WP_Query codex, you’re not using wp_query correctly. https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Class_Reference/WP_Query
