category attribute is used to limit the search to events in these tags. If you want Both then you can create a new search attribute e.g. https://wp-events-plugin.com/tutorials/creating-custom-event-search-attributes/

e.g. [events_calendar category_is=”82,87″]

I’m trying to have the calendar display events that have more than one category assigned to them – for example, only display events that are category 82 and 87 at the same time. Not both.
