    this doesn’t happen normally (unless you trash a recurring event, then all recurrences are trashed), so if you’re sure another user hasn’t gone in to do this, I’d check to see if you have any backup software or similar that could be doing this.

    Thanks for the quick response. I’m the only user, and I have no backup software. (I copy the site to my PC with FTP for backup.)

    I just went and looked and found a trashed recurring event where the date said “From to , [ERROR: corrupted database record]”. This was a recurring event I started to create, then trashed before I published it, when I decided to create it as three separate events. I’m almost positive that the problem occurred immediately after I trashed this recurring event.

    What version of EM are you on? There was a bug in earlier 5.x where this happened when you trashed a recurring event.
