the jquery cdn link won’t work here, the answer would be to increase your memory limit to e.g. try 64M

That said, themeforest themes are the #1 conflict causers

90%+ of the time it’s javascript related in one way or another, the other times it’s usually to do with either bad loop/filter useage or problems with CPTs

The number one issue now is the inclusion of their own jQuery and UI (or using CDN) libraries instead of using the WP ones. I wrote a post about it here – https://msyk.es/blog/prevent-jquery-wordpress-theme/

Interesting to see you’re on top of this though… that’s really encouraging. Didn’t think the top level of TF actually cared about theme quality at this point because this has gone on for years and since WP updated their jQuery to v1.7.2 was close to recommending users AGAINST TF.

The issue of including their own jQuery / jQuery UI or CDN versions shouldn’t be a problem with more recently added themes. This is a part of our review process. It wasn’t always though, so older themes that haven’t been updated since could still have this issue at the moment. We’re working on that too though.

imp I’d also remove the section ‘Overriding Default Libraries and Using Content Delivery Networks’ because enough ppl will probably not read your last paragraph of advice and copy bad code.

I strongly believe this is not the way to do it, guaranteed someone will implement that and in a few months it’ll be the cause of a conflict.
