you can use the #_ATTENDEES placeholder and then modify the templates/placeholders/attendees.php file, copy it to yourtheme/plugins/events-manager/placeholders/

I can find the attendees.php file at wp-content/plugins/events-manager/templates/placeholders/

Not sure what to modify and the location /plugins/events-manager/placeholders/ does not exist.

I need to modify get_avatar to what?
