[Plugin: Events Manager] How to show 1 Recurring Event

any help would be appreciated

i want to hide all recurring event just show the one which is latest and when that is passed the next one in future will show

currently all recurring events show in events list.

try shortcode [events_list recurring=1] in your wp pages

I don’t think that’s the right solution, the above just shows recurring events, but all of them.

There isn’t a solution for this atm

In case someone is trying to do this with PHP, I just thought of a possible way:

the filter em_events_build_sql_orderby adds an order by clause to the SQL statement used to find events. If you hook into that and add

GROUP BY recurrence_id

you’d probably want to add an argument to detect when to do this, otherwise, it’d break other event queries:
